Looking forwards to it, seriously looking forwards to it actually, I definitely need a 24 fix, and I really want some questions answered that the season 7 trailer posed, though I know that isn't gonna happen.
That writers strike sucked. A whooooole really long year without 24.
I think, though, that this season, including the prequel, will either make or break 24 for good. I remember when season 5 aired and fans got annoyed because of all the character deaths, (personally I loved season 5 even if they did take away my beautiful Michelle ) and people I've spoken to were less then happy with season 6. But I mean, come on! Jack in Africa has to be cool!
I still wonder at the logic of bringing back a certain character. It'll either be disastrous, or excellent. Personally I think it'll be awesome either way. All they need now is to have Jack flip sides and become a baddie, cause that'd make for a really interesting season! lol
Okaaaay kinda went off on an unrelated tangent there, but anyway
Simple answer, Hell yeah I'm looking forwards to 24: Redemption!
I'm torn at this. I've been with 24 since Day 1 and the show's changed so much that it hasn't been itself for years. and yes, I'm one of the people nero is referring to... I've been disappointed at s5, s6 and i'm not sure if s7 can redeem the show (pun intended). i also think that the idea of jack working as a MISSIONARY is very very far fetched... but we'll see. as for bringing back the certain character - I don't know what to think about that. he's always been my favorite and he never should have left the show in the first place. but as he did, they should have left it that way. certainly, if the whole 'baddie' scenario is true, there's only one way things can end for him. and that's... not well. i'll probably watch both the prequel movie and the season, but i'm not expecting much of it. and like nero says, I think we all agree it's a make or break. i'm guessing this will be the last season (a situation, frankly, i think should have been discussed years ago). and hey, maybe jack CAN die after all...
and before anyone cuts off my head for saying what I did, just understand that there are different kinds of fans, those from the first day who've enjoyed 24 for different things than the new fans who've come in since season 5 and enjoyed it for different elements. blood, death, and explosions... to me those have always been just one element, not the heart of the show. but as time went by, they have become more and more what 24 leaned on, and i think that's a pity.
going to think about a possible character to contribute to the RPG. though I AM tony, in essence ;-)
